AFTER: LOCKED 5 YEARS, JULY 15, 2008 (I have about 440 locks total, and it takes 2 1/2 hours for my retightenings- I go every 6 weeks)

Ok, I am ready for work and on my way out the door and I could not resist taking one more picture (smile)....I am so excited, 5 years!!! YIPEE

Nu-me- thanks. I use the loc butter for my scalp and sometimes I put some in my palm and rub it through my locks.

I know I am a late commentor (about a year and a half late!), but your locs are beautiful.
At one year, I can only imagine what mine will look like after five years. If they look have as lovely as yours, I will be one envied woman.
I suppose I shouldn't 'want to be you when I grow up,' but it's hard not to covet such naturally beautiful hair!
