I created this blog to share my pilgrimage of natural hair. My Sisterlocks were installed 7/15/03 with 2 inches of my natural hair & since then I have learned to love every part of me. My journey has also inspired me to get to know my loose natural hair so on 7/16/2011 my Locktician cut my Sisterlocks off & my new journey began. I hope this blog inspires you to embrace your hair in a way you never have before.

I am inspired by the growth. It is fabulous! Thanks for sharing the progression. My husband was asking me, "Does everyone's hair grow with Sisterlocks™". I told him everyone I saw pictures of hair grew. He was like well they must have had "good" hair and long hair before they got Sisterlock™. He will just have to have patience as God transforms my hair into what He wants it to be--Beautiful and Natural.
Yes, you are right and the transformation is WON-DER-FUL!!!!!! As you can see I started off with 2 inches of hair and 3 years 8 months later I would never have thought my locks would have grown this long already. The potential of our natural hair is AMAZING!!!!!
