Greetings, finally I have gotten around to finally posting stuff about hair :) This is a photo of a roller-set in the front and braid out from the top of my head to the back. Since my hair is getting longer and thicker I can't roll my entire head anymore because my arms get too tired so I thought I would try half and half. I actually like the results, let's see how long it will last (smile).

Your hair looks fabulous. Sorry to hear it is so difficult to roll now. I can't wait to get to that length, but maybe I can. You look wonderful. It is worth the extra work.
Simply gorgeous! You wear it so well.
ahhh you did curlies-looks beautiful!. i totally understand the roller thing. i did a set this weekend and it took an hour /30mn...THEN it took about 2 to dry from just spritzing. i was going crazy!

ALL THE BEST.
Your hair looks gorgeous! It's very becoming on you.
I am loving your hair!
ooh Abena! Just gorgeous is all I can say. Congrats on the anniversary and the length is lovely! Did u see the last issue of the Sisterlocks magazine? Dr Cornwell was giving styling tips for longer hair. Also I saw a great clip on utube with styling ideas for long hair. I think someone mentioned it on LIU as well the other day. Just go to utube and type in Sisterlocks. Forget what the lady is called but she has a video business. Your hair is such an inspiration to me. Waiting for that length myself. :)
WOW!!!! Just beautiful!!!
Beautiful...Beautiful! BeauTIful. You are a major encouragement!

Ladies, ladies, ladies, thank you all for the wonderful compliments and comments. I am really loving my hair like this.....
After I took the rollers and the braids out my DH said your hair looks so good, this is the best style you have worn since you have had the locks.....So you all know that I was feeling good and to then log onto my computer and see all of your comments, boy, you all sure know how to make a girl feel pretty (smile)
I understand the length and arms tired thing. Even though my locs aren't that mature, I have that issue anyway @ 13 months. I started with locs being installed @ 8 inches. so I do that very same thing, I roller set the back and braid the front !!! LOL and it turns out absolutely beautiful !!!
Your hair looks great! I know the rolling process is a pain but the reward is worth it. Especially when hubby takes notice :-)
rYou look so cute!!!!!
Jenn- Wow, I did not know you started off with 8 inches, so you know exactly what I mean :) But as some of the other ladies have mentioned, it is worth it when your hair turns out beautifully.
Twoislandsgirls- I am so happy that you stopped by, haven't heard from you in a while....when is the baby due? How are you? BTW- thanks for the compliments and encouragement :)
Cherie- Hey Sis, thanks :) You should try this style, I think it would look wonderful on you...(remember roll the top and braid the back, and I want to see photos-smile)
Your locks are absolutely beautiful!!
I know I've been MIA--so much going on . . . but I just wanted to stop and let you know you look lovely! Your locs look super healthy and shiny and I love the style. Keep up the good work :) Jeri (it's been so long since I've blogged I don't even remember my password!!!)
Kwasmrs- Thank you, thank you :)
Jeri- Oh boy have I missed you, I would love to see some new photo's of Jordyn, but seeing since you forgot your password, I guess that will not be happening too soon (smile). I hope you are enjoying being a mommy :) Blessings to you and thanks for the compliments. Hey, how is your hair? I have heard different things about when you are pregnant and after about how it affects your hair. What was your experience?
