Dear SisterLocks...I love you...I really do and I have truly enjoyed our pilgrimage. But it's been what, almost 8 years? It's time for a change. I'm sorry...it's not you...it's ME. I need more variety in my life...I need a change.... So...in a couple of months we will have to part ways. There's a few really cute natural styles I've been looking at. *Shrugs* Sometimes it just is what it is...it's been real ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
P.S. I will be documenting my new natural hair journey on this blog, note, name change from Chosen Vessel's Sisterlock Pilgrimage to Chosen Vessel's Natural Hair Pilgrimage :) I am VERY EXCITED!!!

you don't mean that?
are you taking your locs down?
@Paula, yes, I do. I have truly enjoyed my journey but I really am excited about growing out my hair (post locks).
@Anthia-ofo- Yes, my Locktician will be cutting them out in July. I am allowing some new growth to come in so that I will have something to work with when she cuts them off.
Sorry to see them go, but you're the only one who knows what's good for yourself. Change is growth most times, I know it's not a decision you made lightly.
Your locks are beautiful and their dramatic growth in the shortest time inspired me to hope that someday I'll be getting there. Eventually...
Thanks for the inspiration,
Paula.
Good luck whatever your heart desires...I will still follow your blog.
Wow,...uh wow. ~However God is leading you or wherever, I know that you will follow. Congratulations on your new journey.
@Paula- thank for the encouragement and kind words :)
@NaturalTB- thank you, I look forward to it :)
@Ladybutterfly- Amen :) Thank you so much!
Wishing you the best on your new journey. I fully understand the need for change. I've been known to change my hair overnight, without much thought. :>)
Anywho, I will continue to follow your blog, I have enjoyed it and look forward to the new posts. Peace and Blessings!
I know this new journey will be a fun one. I had the pleasure of learning my own natural hair for about 8 months and I would never miss it for the world. Have fun and please post pictures :).
@LovinNatural and Kreyola- thank you ladies for the encouraging words and I also am excited that you will be sharing in my new journey. I will definitely be documenting my new pilgrimage on my blog with pictures so stay tuned.....:)
