"Carol's Daugter Product Choice"

This product is the best! It is called "Tui Jojoba & Shea Butter Sheen." This is so good for locks. The smell is divine and it gives the locks a nice sheen without being oily or greasy. Also, it gives the locks a softer feel to them.

"A Carol's Daughter Product I am going to try"- I just orderd the "Healthy Hair Butter." I have been looking for some hair food that is not greasy or oily, so I just ordered this product and hopefully it will meet my needs. I have had a lot of success with most of the Carol's Daughter products but the "Lock Butter" was a little too greasy for me.

Oooohhh.. Both products are of interest to me. I need to check out their website. Can't wait to hear what products others rave about.

Hey! I use the Tui Jojoba oil sheen maybe every three days I usually spray some in my hands and run my fingertips through my hair and love it. I just purchased the Kormet Oil to rub on my scalp because I have been experiencing some itchiness, love that as well. Enjoy your product!

I have been looking at their site for the past few days trying to figure out what proucts to try. I originally was ONLY going to purchase their Sexy Belly (for my stretch marks, lol I heard it works) and some of their Almond Cookie Body and Bath Products. I love the smell of Almond and so does my DH,;). Anhyhow being the product junkie that I am I figured I might as well treat my hair, it's just so much to chose from. Thanks for the heads up on the loc butter, I will be crossing that off of my long list! Keep us posted!

I have only tried Carol Daughter's Shea Souffle, not any of her hair products.

For hair oil, I use Komaza Care Hair Nourishment Oil once or twice a week. It's all natural, jojoba based and full of wonderfully nourishing herbs. :)

For shampoo, I use Aubrey Organics Green Tea Clarifying Shampoo. It gets my SLs deep-down clean without stripping and leaves my hair with a nice shine. Occassionally I may use a mix of 5 parts water to 1 part of Nature's Gate Herbal Conditioner.

I also make my own herbal hair spritzer by steam distilling herbs in purified water.

I look forward to hearing how you like the CD products!

Hey there! I used the healthy hair butter before I locked my hair. It is extremely thick and hard to rinse out. I DON'T recommend it for locks unless she has changed the formula on it.
I use the oil and love the scent of it!

The leave in conditioner leaves a residue. I diluted it and use it that way. The shampoo has a lot of extra that my locks tend to hold onto. I am leary about trying anything else due to the price.

Meikmeika- The hair oil is great but just like Tra said, the Healthy Hair butter is too thick for my locks, it is hard to get out of my hair, and actually left flakes.

Nu-me- I love the Tui Oil spray, but the Khoret Oil smell was too strong for me and my hubby did not like it at all, but it is great that there are so many products to choose from.

Sistalocd- Have fun experimenting and good luck :)

Shanessence- Yes, I also have used the Komaza products, and I like them as well. My best friends knows the owner really well and she puts her heart and soul into her products, so I really like to support her. Regarding CD, I think right now I am going to stick with the Tui Hair Oil and the Tui Jojoba Hair spray (works good and smells divine).

Tra- You are soooo right about the healthy hair butter, it is too thick for me locks. It is hard to get out and actually flaked up in my hair. And that is the worst to have locks and flakeness (UMPH)....I will stick with the Tui prodcuts :) Thanks for the heads up.

Anonymous- I feel you on all aspects, I stopped using the shampoo for the same reasons you mentioned, and I don't feel like it was getting my locks clean enough. In addition, I agree with you, Carol's Daughter is very pricy. Another solution you may want to check out is Komaza products, they are good and the prices are more reasonable.

Sez- I am so happy to hear that this was helpful for you, AWESOME!!! Also, thanks for the compliment :)

Help!!! I have had my SL's for about 5yrs now. In my third year, my tech's daughter dyed my locks (with my permission) and the results badly thinned out my locks. My locks have grown but are still thin, lifeless and now they unravel and breaks off. Please help me with suggesting products which will bring the life and health back to my SL before I make the decision to cut them off. Thanks. Signed,

I am so sorry to hear that. Unfortunately this is definitely not my area of expertise because I do not have my locks died but I do think a good person to contact would be Blaq, she has been dying her locks for a while and seems very knowledgeable. Her blog addrees is blaqkofi.blogspot.com. I hope this helps.
