Chosen this is so right on time. I am working on a 30 day prayer journal for my husband. There is a scripture and a prayer for the day. Now if that isn't romantic I don't know what is. I will keep you posted on how it goes. I would love everyone to have a copy of this. You are suppose to romance them and say positive things to them daily. I will check out the book you mentioned too. WOW, looking forward to a romantic year.

Chosen,

First of all I love the pictures you have for this post. I am surprised that there are not more responses. I will venture out to share my idea of romance. Mainly I loved the idea of romance and being romanced.

But I will share what I have done to be romantic (in the past). I was working from the assumption that men are VISUAL! One Valentine’s Day I gave my husband a beautifully decorated box with green sexy lingerie inside. The card attached said, “Your wish is my command!”

He was not the most romantic person, so at first he did not “get it”, and it kind of hurt my feelings. But once he found out that I would wear the outfit for him while performing three wishes for him things became very interesting.

(This was early in our marriage; I later learned that a T-shirt and a pair of sexy panties was his turn on, not “fancy” lingerie.) Wish # 1 was to watch me make some fried pork chops and mashed potatoes (I was not much of a cooker then, and this was the recipe I used to win his heart when we were “courtin’) while wearing the lingere. Wish # 2 was to watch me model the outfit (I was body shy then), and Wish #3 was to help me out of the lingerie . (smile, Smile, SMILE!) The rest…please fill in the blanks.

So essentially, find out what your husband likes and loves and give it to him in a BIG dose! Happy Valentines Day! I am going to see if I can find that book your referenced.
