I know it has been a while so I wanted to give you a few updates:
1. The Hair Dryer attachment device is working out very well. I used to air dry my hair, and I still do, but now if I need to dry it quicker (2 hours) it is definitely more convenient.
2. I am still loving my new color and bangs. This hair style has made my locks more easier to manage and the hairstyles are easier to achieve, because the bangs are the center of it all :)
3. I do like the Lottabody it makes my curls last much longer, at least 3-5 days.
4. Shampoo and Conditioner- I have switched once again and so far the Nexxus Therappe (Shampoo) and Humectress (Conditioner) is working nicely. I wanted to be proactive and prevent any dryness to my locks since I have dye now and it is working.
QUESTION: Does anyone use hair oil for your locks that is not oily? I have been using Carol's Daughter Tui Hair Oil for years and I do like it but it is a bit on the pricey side.

Your locs are looking healthy and beautiful as usual. I use a demi- permanent, so I do keep my haie well conditioned! I use Kera care humecto conditioner, then I tea tree oil, peppermint oil, and sage oil mixed in sweet almond oil. In the summer, I use sweet almond oil with vegetable glycerin for added humidity. I the winter, I use avocado oil which is a little heavy but not oily. I apply these oils right after I condition. I get under the dryer for about 15-20 minutes to seal in the moisture and also to remove the excess wetness to prevent mold! I pray that this helps!

So pretty! I know what you mean about how the color makes your hair dry. I have just been deep conditioning with Jamacia and Lime conditioner and using Sisterlocks moisturizer. I leave it in after I rinse out the Jamacia and Lime conditioner.
I combine castor oil with olive oil and add a few drops of essential oils
i used to but both of my SL consultants have advised me that oils are really not necessary(i used to use the tui oil, the lisa's hair elixir, and the khoret amen hair oil at different times during my 5 yrs of having SLs. as of last winter, i spritz very lightly with the SL moisturizer spray...with winter use only, one bottle has lasted me almost two winters.
I use Jamaica Mango and Lime Island Oil on my locks. It is very light and not greasy at all. I works best on damp hair. i even use it on my skin sometimes, when it gets very dry.
