Thanks for sharing. I thought it was interesting listenings. I think Julia Hare is very outspoken and courageous. I admire those qualities in her. However, I am ambigious about whatever the Black Think Tank was talking about. What is this "covenent" she spoke of? White people and even white media are not my enemy--I barely spend my time watching the news.
As far as the children are concerned, I agree with My Great Grandmother, my Grandmother, my Mama, and my Pastor, "Whip 'em!"

I am with you I have no idea what the Black Think Tank is or what they were referring to when they said "covenant." My "amen" was for what she said about the Black Leaders.
Did she say white people/white media are the enemy? I did not hear her say that, but I only listened to the video once....Anyway, I only have one enemy and that is the devil and our God has already defeated him...hallelujah!!!!!
I'm with you - Amen, Amen, Amen. I have been very concerned with the black images Hollywood and the media put out there as a representation of our race. Too often "leading blacks" are passing for black leaders and are sucking our kids into their deception through the medium of TV, music and movies.
I have traveled to parts of the world where it is very uncommon for a family to have a TV, and they don't have anywhere near the problems we have in our schools, with our children, with society as a whole. They may not be materially rich, but culturally and spiritually, their families are in tact, and they are wealthy beoynd measure in that.
So while I did not hear Julia Hare state that the media is our enemy, I do believe that The Enemy is working through the media to distract us and to capture this next generation of leaders (our kids), by seducing them with a bling, bling, materialistic mentality. (I'd rather have my bling, bling in heaven, than try to impress anyone here on earth).
I did not see that broadcast, but I also don't think it aired on ABC, CBS, or NBC. It was way too real for mainstream media. No, no, that would reach too many of them; might provoke dem darkies to thinking again.
Ok let me get off my soap box. I guess you can tell this is a subject that infuriates me and I can go on, and on. I'll spare you and your readers my tirade. Thank you though for the post.

I couldn't have said it better myself...AMEN again!!!! Whew...I tell you I really like what you said about the enemy working through the media, that is sooooooo true and we have to take heed as Christians and realize how the enemy is trying to destroy our children "by any means necessary!"
The scriptue that comes to mind is 2 Chronicles 7:14: If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
We have to stand on the word of God and protect our children from the snares of the enemy.
Prayer for our children: Lord, I ask You for the gifts of intelligence, strength, talent, wisdom, and godliness to be in our children. Keep them safe from any accident, disease, or evil influence. May no plan of the enemy succeed in their lives...in Jesus name, amen.
